Daventry 150 let by ILP Partners to major supply chain specialist
Logicor, the owner, manager and developer of European logistics real estate, has leased its 143,155-square-foot Unit B in DIRFT near Daventry, Northamptonshire to supply chain specialists Menzies Distribution Solutions.
The warehouse leased to Menzies is one of a handful of available units in DIRFT, the largest rail freight terminal in the UK, with a direct link to the Channel Tunnel, domestic destinations and deep seaports.
Menzies has signed a 10-year lease. The unit’s 14 metre eaves height allows for more flexibility in use and cubic capacity, which key to its requirements.
Logicor has also completed a five-year lease extension with technology company Ingram Micro at its 264,304-square-foot Unit C in DIRFT, securing its tenancy until 2030.
Occupiers at DIRFT include large retailers and service providers such as Sainsbury’s, Inditex, Tesco and Royal Mail.
Tom Blakely, director of asset management at Logicor, said in a statement: “Leasing Unit B DIRFT to Menzies Distribution is testament to the quality and location of Logicor’s assets, which have the right features in the right markets. It was great to work swiftly with our agents on this lease which will facilitate the growth of Menzies operations and support the local economy.”

We're delighted to have taken on an additional site in the heart of the logistics 'golden triangle' as part of our strategic growth plan. We are investing in a new site to support a relationship with Ball Corporation that has flourished over the last 25 years. The Logicor site at Unit B DIRFT is an important milestone as we expand our footprint in order to provide our services across the UK."
Logicor has two additional sites available, the newly refurbished Campus 450 DIRFT, which is made up of three high specification units totalling 451,919 square feetand DIRFT 200, a 204,320-square-foot warehouse which is due to complete refurbishment in October 2025.
