Our Team

As a long-established team, Myles and Richard have worked jointly with a series of development clients including, Goodman, Graftongate, Prologis, St Modwen, Stoford, Symmetry ,Tritax and in the corporate sector, AX (Accident Exchange), Allbeauty, Brakes, Carlsberg, Ceva (Gefco), Cummins, Michelin and Stellantis (Peugeot /Vauxhall). Chris, who joined the partnership in 2023, worked with Myles and Richard for over a decade at Gerald Eve and collaborated with them on the majority of these clients and projects.

Myles Wilcox-Smith MRICS

Myles has specialised in the industrial & logistics sector for over 20 years. He has successfully advised a wide range of occupational, investor and developer clients over that time.
 
Myles has spent most of his career based in the Midlands and specialises in acquisition and leasing. He has a detailed knowledge of major Big Box occupational requirements in the market enabling him to identify early opportunities for clients.
 
His track record includes advising Cummins on the acquisition and development of 435,000 sq. ft at Apex Park, Daventry, a key strategic logistics site located close to Cummins UK Engine Manufacturing Facility.
 
Advising Prologis in the disposal of 427,000 sq. ft at Prologis Park, Kettering to CEVA Logistics and Prologis Park Ryton, Coventry where Ceva Logistics also acquired a further 330,000 sq. ft.
 
Myles also advises Tritax Symmetry in the development of  their 84 acre site in Rugby, where Iron Mountain have already secured 980,000 sq. ft over four buildings, and continues to act in the next phase of speculative buildings toalling  890,000 sq ft in 3 units

Richard Ludlow FRICS

Richard has over 30 years’ experience in the industrial and logistics sector. He spent five years in Australia, again in the industrial & logistics sector, before returning to the UK in 2002.
 
Richard has successfully acted and transacted for occupational, investor and development clients in the UK with particular emphasis on large-scale development projects and corporate real estate re-structuring.
 
In 2006 Richard advised Prologis on their acquisition of the Severn Trent Property Company (over 500 acres), which included DIRFT, Midpoint and Rugby along with other assets. In 2007 he acted for Peugeot on the sale of their 142 acre 1.5m sq. ft Ryton car plant, which was eventually sold on to Prologis and then acted on the lettings.
 
Richard acted for Vauxhall on the sale and leaseback of Vauxhall’s 58 acre 1.25m sq. ft NDC at Luton to Goodman. During the lease back period he acted on the delivery of a replacement NDC of 667k sq. ft for Stellantis on Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port manufacturing site. At the beginning of 2025 Richard acted for Stellantis on the sale of 92 acre 1.75m sq. ft Vauxhall Plant at Luton.

Chris Kershaw FRICS

Chris has specialised in the I and L sector since starting his career in London, initially based in the City, and subsequently in the West End, where he focused on transacting industrial and warehouse space mainly in the West London and M4 corridors.
 
He relocated to the Midlands in 2003 to take responsibility for running the Birmingham office of Gerald Eve where he worked with Myles and Richard until 2013. Clients included, ATS, AX (Accident Exchange), Carlsberg, Cummins, Michelin, Peugeot Citroen Automobiles (now Stellantis) Jaguar Land Rover and Yodel.
 
In 2013 Chris moved to GVA (now Avison Young) where he worked on a number of development schemes including Horizon 38, Bristol (a 65-acre development of 1.0m ft.²) and Peddimore, Minworth advising on the selection of a development partner for the 150-acre 3.6m sq. ft scheme.
 
Clients included IM Properties, Barberry Developments, St Francis, iSec, BP Ropemaker, Abrdn, Baring Investors, Hortons’ Estate, Birmingham City Council, Muller, Vestey, Komatsu Mining (Joy Global), Assa Abloy, NEC, & NT International.
 
Chris has a broad base of commercial property and management experience to bring to client projects and the business.
